LinkedIn updated pages for freelancers

The social network LinkedIn has updated pages for freelancers ( Service Pages ), which are shown in the Service Marketplace.

Service Marketplace is a platform inside LinkedIn designed to compete with Fiverr and Upwork. The global launch of the service took place in October.

Now Service Pages owners can show examples of work from their portfolio on the page, as well as link their site page to their company’s LinkedIn page ( for example, if the freelancer is an entrepreneur).

By adding this information, freelancers will be able to provide more evidence of their work experience and qualifications and get a job faster.

Linking a Service Page to a Company Page only works on the desktop version of LinkedIn.

Recall that earlier this month, LinkedIn named the most in-demand professions and skills in digital marketing.
